I would have no problem sharing the bill either (if the guy was poor and I could afford it) but I guess that's more a brazilian thing than an american tradition... In Brazil, inviting somebody to eat out doesn't ALWAYS mean that you are paying. Especially among young people... Anyway, now I'm getting used to the american tradition and I like it regardeless if I'm invited or if I'm the one inviting, it's fun to treat friends ant to be treated!Ana Schaetzlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12044908347658572800noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29835034.post-13540566645868710572007-05-25T11:38:00.000-07:002007-05-25T11:38:00.000-07:00I would think, "What a thrifty guy," then ask myse...I would think, "What a thrifty guy," then ask myself, "Does this person think or have anything to talk about?"mimihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10285883618681214104noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29835034.post-33285595078650760422007-05-22T22:49:00.000-07:002007-05-22T22:49:00.000-07:00No coupons or gift cards allowed on a first date! ...No coupons or gift cards allowed on a first date! However(!), I do remember one date when I had NO more money and the function I was at required more money, therefore I would have given my right arm at the time to have a coupon, giftcard, traveler's check, gold bars, foodstamps, Aggiebucks, greenstamps or even a certifiable I.O.U. But no - I had nothin'! EMMBARRAASSING. After 2 full minutes of 'AWKARD,' the lady just said, "don't worry about it!" Gotta love mercy!!!!!!Jason Fullenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08816628513961487375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29835034.post-79088181892378799562007-05-17T20:03:00.000-07:002007-05-17T20:03:00.000-07:00At first I thought: no way. If I wasn't into her, I'd break out the gift card; maybe it would help make for an easier getaway!

Of course I am thinking back to my premarital dating status...Adam Workmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13361357285471373625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29835034.post-54323791924143026902007-05-17T08:27:00.000-07:002007-05-17T08:27:00.000-07:00Not cool. Not cool.Todd Wrighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06394099789873338827noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29835034.post-27890412150105645542007-05-17T04:24:00.000-07:002007-05-17T04:24:00.000-07:00I would never use a coupon or gift card on a first...I would never use a coupon or gift card on a first date.
