Good Citizens
Last night about 12:30am, Jason, my mom, and I were returning movies to Blockbuster in Hampstead. As we drove by the other stores in the shopping center, Jason sees that the glass door to Radio Shack was completely shattered. We called the cops and they came. We got to see the cop pull his gun, hide behind his car, call for back up, enter the building, etc.... It was like a real COPS episode. (Except for the fact we weren't able to see any real criminals in cuffs.) The perpetrator had already left the scene. This isn't as exciting as Kristen's story, but for the few moments we thought there might be some action, Jason and I got a pretty good adrenaline rush. However, my mom was in the backseat trying to discuss theology with us. I told her she was going to have to stop because I couldn't focus enough to hear great theological truths and take in all I was seeing.

When you told Mom to stop must have been when she called Jessica so she could be in on the sounds of the happenings. That is what it was like when I rode with Kris Delap those two nights... but I did get to see the dudes in cuffs.
I can hear the music in the background......
Bad Boys Bad Boys Whatcha gonna do? Watcha gonna do when they come for you?
Hey Rachel, this is Marcelo from Brazil, remember me? I hope so.
I really liked the "Bad Boys song" part.
I don't know if you know, but i'm a cop now (actualy I work in the forensic part), but here in BZ we don't have all that action that you have in the US, no helicopter, not so much of cars running and all. It's very calm to be part of the police here.
Good to come to your blog. Visit mine. I'm posting in Portuguese and English so you could tell me if the English is good.

wow!! how crazy is that????
lol I can totally hear your mom speaking about theology while someone is robbing a place. very funny! I would have been cracking up. She is so great...constant, even in the middle of crime. lol
