What did you say?

Lately I've been realizing that I have a knack for singing the wrong words to songs. For example, I was singing along to Mercy Me's "Who am I?" and I found my self singing:

"You hear me when I'm falling,
"You catch me when I'm calling"

Then best one however was today in chuch we were singing a Crowder song (I think) and I sang:
"Praise Him mother hope and skies" instead of "Praise Him under open skies"

I'm so crazy.

It can get worse as you get older. At least it, you weren't telling them you wanted to sing the Sino Song... you remember that one... Jesus Loves Me, Thi sIKnow!!

I hate it when you realize it after you KNOW you have been doing it in front of people for ever.

There ain't no overcoming then...

There is a name for this disorder - chronic lyricosis. My mom has been suffering from this ailment for years. My personal favorite mix up of hers was when Lance and I overheard her singing "I want to be your soul survivor" instead of soul provider (by Michael Bolton).
